Farm Duty Motors

There are many strenuous tasks which need to be done in farms and other agricultural, poultry based industries. Farm duty motors are specially manufactured to function in hazardous environments. Most of these motors are manufactured to produce high torque and power. Farm duty motors need to be very reliable and efficient. The types of farm duty motors can be AC or DC motors according to the requirement of the use.

There are different types of farm duty motors used as shown below:

• Agricultural heavy duty motors- these motors are used for agricultural purposes like grinders, agitators, compressors and feeders.

• High torque motors- these types of farm duty motors are designed for starting torque loads.

• Wash down motors- these types of Farm duty motors are specially designed to be able to work with food and beverage production. The whole motor can be washed and cleaned when ever needed. Some types of motors of this kind are painted or paint free non-rusting pats.
